Kings look to extend away team winning streak
Los Angeles Kings vs. Anaheim Ducks

KINGS at DUCKS

(Best-of-7 series tied 2-2)

TV: NBCSN, TSN, RDS

Big story: The Freeway Series is now a virtual best-of-3, and neither team has won a home game. After the Anaheim Ducks struggled offensively in the first two games, it's the Los Angeles Kings who are searching for answers after scoring twice in two games and getting shut out by a rookie goaltender making his Stanley Cup Playoffs debut.

Team Scope:

Kings: Los Angeles has faced five goalies in 11 games this postseason, but Anaheim rookie John Gibson was the first new face for most of the Kings. Although the Kings dominated puck possession, shot attempts and shots on goal, they were far from satisfied with the trouble they caused for the 20-year-old rookie in his first NHL playoff game in Game 4.

"We need to do more to get to him, obviously," Kings defenseman Drew Doughty said. "We gave him too many easy shots, and we didn't crash the net and get people in front of him. He played good, but we've got to do a better job."

Ducks: Who the goaltender is going to be is no longer a question for Anaheim, at least for Game 5. The rest of the lineup is still in a bit of flux. Coach Bruce Boudreau said forward Matt Beleskey is not going to be available again after missing Game 4 with a lower-body injury. Goaltender Frederik Andersen is also out.

Center Mathieu Perreault practiced Sunday and could return to the lineup after missing Game 4 with a lower-body ailment. Boudreau said he will be a game-time decision.

The Ducks have used three new players in each of the past two games, and they've won each to get back into this series.

"For some reason, there was just a calm sense in the room," defenseman Cam Fowler said. "We felt confident that we could come back. That's something that we strive for. We know that a lot of people were counting us out. We wanted to come in here and prove that we weren't going to go away slowly. That gives us a lot of confidence moving forward."

Who's hot: Kings center Anze Kopitar remains the NHL's leading postseason scorer with 15 points despite not registering one for the first time in these playoffs in Game 4. … Gibson has stopped 111 of 115 shots in four games in his NHL career, including 28 of 28 in his playoff debut Saturday. That's a .965 save percentage for the Ducks rookie.

Injury report: Los Angeles defensemen Robyn Regehr (undisclosed) and Willie Mitchell (undisclosed) are not expected to be available. … Anaheim defenseman Stephane Robidas (leg) is out along with Andersen and Beleskey.
