6 Things To Watch For Tonight On Fox Sports West
Los Angeles Kings vs. Phoenix Coyotes

KINGS (8-4-0) at COYOTES (7-3-2)

7:00PM PT, TV: FOX SPORTS WEST; RADIO: AM 1150

ROAD STOP: The Kings are making a short road trip to the desert before they return home to Los Angeles for another four-game home stand. They’re looking for their third consecutive win during their Arizona visit, against a Coyotes team they scored seven goals against last Thursday night at STAPLES Center.

TENSION TOWN: These two teams have absolutely no love for one another; none. It’s become a rivalry that is arguably the stingiest in the entire Pacific Division. They’re both playoff caliber clubs, and nothing is going to come easy. The Coyotes, and their goaltender Mike Smith especially, will be seething to extract revenge against the Kings.

DWIGHT-OUT: Can Dwight King be the dark horse against Phoenix once again? King, who notched a hat trick against the Coyotes last Thursday at STAPLES Center, also tallied a pair of goals against Phoenix in Glendale, AZ at Jobing.Com Arena in Game 1 of the 2012 Western Conference Finals. Are we fit for a King against the Coyotes yet again?

ANZE IN AZ: The numbers don’t lie – Anze Kopitar works offensive magic when playing against the Phoenix Coyotes. Kopitar has 14 goals and 33 assists for 47 total points against the Coyotes in his NHL career – the most he has against any team in the league. Can he add to that total tonight at Jobing.com Arena?

CASH-OUT CLIFFORD: Kyle Clifford won’t be suspended for his knee-to-knee hit on Edmonton’s Ryan Nugent-Hopkins on Sunday night, but he will have to break out the checkbook. Clifford will be surrendering $2,756.41 for the incident, which is the maximum fine allowed under the NHL’s current collective bargaining agreement. Can Clifford bury the pain of the financial loss and cash in on the ice tonight in Glendale?

HANZEL, SO SUSPENDED RIGHT NOW, HANZEL: Martin Hanzal, who recorded two goals against the Kings last Thursday, will be out of the Coyotes lineup tonight while serving a two-game suspension for his charging hit on Edmonton’s Jeff Petry on Saturday night. Can the Kings capitalize tonight with Phoenix’s second-leading scorer out of their lineup?
