6 Things To Watch For On Fox Sports West
Los Angeles Kings vs. Nashville Predators

KINGS (4-3-0) at PREDATORS (3-3-0)

1) TURNING GOOD TO GREAT - The Kings are 2-1-0 on their current four-game road swing. If they can pull off a win at Bridgestone Arena in Nasvhille to go 3-1-0 on their trip, it would give them a great deal of momentum before heading home to STAPLES Center to begin their Pacific Division home stand.

2) ELITE MATCHUPS – Expect to see Jonathan Quick and Pekka Rinne in their respective team’s creases tonight. This goaltending match-up is one of the best you’ll see in the NHL. (And potentially one you’ll see in the Olympics when the USA plays Finland). At the same time, a defensive match-up including Drew Doughty and Shea Weber isn’t bad either!

3) MUSIC TOWN USA – The Kings have won four of their previous six games played against the Nashville Predators at Bridgestone Arena. Though the Predators had an off year last season, they are expected to contend once again in the Central Division and Western Conference. Plus, Nashville is Bob Miller's favorite road city, so give the Kings play-by-play TV analyst some due respect and tune in to the broadcast!

4) SPOILER ALERT – The Nashville Predators are amidst a five-game home stand, where they’ve posted a 3-1-0 record and are riding a two-game win streak following wins against the New York Islanders and Florida Panthers. Can the Kings leave their disaster in Tampa behind and put a damper on Nashville’s early season success at Bridgestone Arena?

5) KOPITAR’S DUE – Anze Kopitar is quietly tied with Jeff Carter for the team lead in points with five. Quietly, because he’s still yet to score a goal seven games into the season. Can Kopitar get off the shneid and bury a goal for the Kings in Nashville?

6) EWWW – Nashville will be wearing their yellowish, gold, mustard, migraine insinuating jerseys tomorrow. They are now the primary home uniform donned at Bridgestone Arena. Don’t not watch the telecast because of their blatant ugliness, but watch to see the Kings make them look bad in them.

Make sure to tune into FOX SPORTS WEST at 4:30PM PT for KINGS LIVE, followed by puck-drop at 5:00 with Bob and Jim on the call for the Kings’ final stop on their current Southeast road swing.
