2007-08: Appeared in six games with the Red Wings…. Played a season high 18:27 at Edmonton 2/26…. Suffered a broken hand in training camp and did not play in the preseason…. Appeared in 66 games for Grand Rapids registering 5 goals and 15 assists….Led the Griffins with 149 penalty minutes….Was a ‘Black Ace’ during Detroit’s run to the 2008 Stanley Cup.

2006-07: Spent most of the season with Grand Rapids, scoring 4-18—22 along with 126 penalty minutes in 67 contests…Appeared in six games regularseason contests with Detroit…Scored his first NHL goal on 4/7 vs. Chicago…Made his NHL postseason debut in Game 6 of the CQF at Calgary (4/22)…Played in 13 of Detroit’s 18 playoff games.

2005-06: Made his AHL and pro debut with the Griffins…Tallied 7-26—33 points, the eighth-highest total ever by a Griffins rookie and second-best total for a first-year defenseman…Made his NHL debut with Detroit on 11/25 at Anaheim.

PERSONAL: Kyle celebrated with the Stanley Cup in Caledon, Ontario with family and friends. He also brought the Cup to the Alder Street Recreation Centre where more than 500 young hockey players and their families joined him for photos and autographs. June 28 was declared ‘Kyle Quincey’ day in Orangeville, Ontartio. Kyle played for the Orangeville Minor Hockey Association as a youngster.
