Been playing together since… 2010

In early 2010, I Am Cassettes was formed by Josh Paschke and Kevin Garcia. The duo released their first EP, Lovers and Liars, in November 2010. The band grew to include Jon Levario and Darren Garcia in Sept 2010. Their sophomore EP Suitcase life was released in October 2011. In 2011, I Am Cassettes has headlined and sold out “The Wire” in Upland as well as playing packed shows at The House of Blues in Anaheim. With less than two years under their belts I Am Cassettes received notoriety in such publishings as: Amp Magazine, IE Weekly, OC Weekly, Press Enterprise, and were named Hot Topic's "Unsigned Band of the Month" in July, 2011.

Did you have any other bands name prior to choosing I Am Cassettes?
“The band you’re about to hear”, “Name Taken” and “Irrelevant”… Just so we could say "What's up guys our name is Irrelevant."
