What skill level is this camp tailored to? My child has never played hockey before.
 
This camp is open to players of all skills levels with a focus on the basics of hockey.
 
 
Is full hockey gear required for this camp?
 
Yes. Every camper is expected to wear full hockey gear.
 
Please see below for a complete list of gear:
-       Player: Helmet, gloves, shoulder pads, elbow pads, hockey pants, shin pads, skates, hockey socks, mouth guard, stick (optional: throat guard, cup/jock, garter belt)

-       Goalie: Helmet, blocker, catcher, chest protector, leg pads, hockey pants, skates, throat guard, hockey socks, goalie stick (optional: cup/jock, garter belt).

 

 
I registered my camper. What’s next?
 
Once your credit card is charged, you will receive an email from a Kings representative to let you know. As information is released on the camp, we will update the website and we will also send periodic update emails with more information.
 
 
My camper wants to play in the same age division as his/her friend. Is that possible and when will we know which age group our camper is in?
 
Parents will be notified by Friday, Aug. 2nd of age division assignments.
 
 
Which Alumni and Kings players will be attending the camp?
 
LA Kings Alumni Sean O’Donnell and Kyle Calder are schedule to appear.
 

If we would like to stay close to the Toyota Sports Center, are there any hotel located by the rink?
 
Yes, there are several hotels located close to Toyota Sports Center.  This site will be updated is any special deals become available to campers and their families.

 
What will the campers have for lunch?
 
Lunch information will be emailed to parents by Friday, Aug. 2nd.
 

I know the camp ends at approximately 2:00pm Monday through Friday, but I cannot pick up my camper until later in the day. Will you be able to watch my child until I am able to pick him/her up?
 
Again, camp ends at 2:00pm, however the Toyota Sports Center offers a variety of hockey and general skating programming throughout the day. To view the Toyota Sports Center’s schedule, please visit www.toyotasportscenter.com.
 
 
Is my registration fee tax deductible?
 
Yes, a portion of your registration fee is tax deductible. You will receive a charitable receipt with your welcome packet when you check in to camp on Sunday, August 5th
