At the end of the month we'll say goodbye to the first decade of the 2000s as the year 2009 comes to a close. To celebrate the conclusion of the decade, LAKings.com is taking EIGHT days to FIGURE out the best of the last 10 years...But we FIGURE we can't do it alone. So LAKings.com is empowering residents of Hockeywood, L.A. to help us out by submitting their Best of the 2000s.

We figured we'd challenge our bloggers with, well, our experts, so we got Rich Hammond, Jim Fox, Bob Miller and others to chime in with their picks...We will release one topic per day starting on Dec. 18 with the Best Center of the 2000s and concluding on Dec. 25 with the Best Reason to be a Kings Fan.
