Andy Nowicki spent four seasons as Kings goaltending coach on Andy Murray's staff from 2001-06 until being relieved of his duties on April 19, 2006 when GM Dave Taylor and the entire coaching staff were let go following the 2005-06 season.
While with the Kings, Nowicki worked exclusively with the Kings goaltenders as well as the prospects within the Kings System.
Prior to joining the Kings, Nowicki was the Goaltending coach with the Red Deer Rebels from 1992 until 2001. Nowicki was working with the Rebels during the club's Memorial Cup Championship run in 2001.
Nowicki left the Rebels in the summer of 2001 to take the Goaltender Consultant position with in Los Angeles.
After his time with the Kings, Nowicki returned for his second tenure with the Rebels in 2007, after his five-year stint with the Kings.
