The Southern California hockey community lost one of its most beloved, revered, and respected family members on Monday July 14th, with the passing of Robert “Bob” Driffill, 66.  The former SCAHA Commissioner, California Golden Bear club president, and Kings fan selflessly touched the lives of many youth hockey players, families, coaches, and administrators over the years with his dedication to the game we all love.

Bob is survived by his wife of 26 years, Carol; children Hilary, Brittany, Andrew and Justin Driffill; parents John and Barbara Driffill ; siblings David and Connie Driffill, John and Maria Driffill and Mike and Nancy Knee. Bob is also survived by 6 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

The Driffill Family has established the Bob Driffill Memorial Fund benefitting the Glendale YMCA and a program that sends underprivileged children to a summer camp on Catalina Island.
