McKeown, on the NHL players he compares himself to:
John Moore, New York Rangers. I think he’s a player I play like, an up and coming defenseman. Good skating, good passing ability. Little things like that that make a difference in the game is where I kind of peg myself.

LA Kings Insider: Introducing Alec Dillon

"He’s big. He’s six-four or five. Athletic. I guess you use the word raw. I think there’s a lot of potential, but he’s got a lot of work to do as well. He’s a realy intelligent kid, can do all the work. But we just really feel like he’s got a lot of good tools, but there’s a lot that both Kim and those guys can do with him. He’s just sort of a blank slate, if you want to say it. So that’s wort of where we see it." - KINGS AMATEUR SCOUT – WESTERN CANADA, BRENT MCEWEN

157th - Jake Marchment: C, CAN

LA Kings Insider: Introducing Jake Marchment

"He’s got to work on his feet. He plays on an Olympic ice suface in Belleville, and it kind of exposes that his feet are not anywhere near an NHL level right now. But his compete level is at the highest level you can possible get. He plays hard. He’s in the right position all the time."
