With the incredible popularity of the That '70s Line sweeping the nation, we here at The Royal Half thought we'd take a look at some other LA Kings line nicknames that were inspired by mediocre late '90s/early '00s FOX television shows.
THE MODELS INC. LINE
Models Inc. was a primetime soap opera that aired one season on FOX in 1994. It featured 5 beautiful models that worked at a modeling agency in Los Angeles.
Models Inc. is a line that's been together at times for three seasons. It features Jarret Stoll, Jeff Carter and Justin Williams who work for a hockey team in Los Angeles and are beautiful models.
THE PRISON BREAK LINEPrison Break was a serial drama that was broadcast on FOX for four seasons, from 2005 until 2009. The show was about two brothers, one that was wrongfully blamed for a crime he didn't commit and the other brother that desperately wanted to get him out of prison.
The Prison Break Line features Jeff Carter and Mike Richards who were broadcast in Philadelphia for six seasons, from 2005 until 2011, until they were wrongfully blamed for crimes they didn't commit and broke out of prison to Los Angeles. In this updated version, they are joined by Marian Gaborik from Columbus.
THE PARTY OF FIVE LINEParty of Five is teen drama that aired on FOX for six seasons, from 1994 to 2000. Critically acclaimed, the show suffered from low ratings during its start but then began dominating its timeslot. The show is about five siblings who have to deal with losing their parents and the lead character is a 24-year-old that struggles with the responsibility of being the new head of the family.
The Party of Five Line has been together in Los Angeles for a few months. Critically acclaimed, the 1st Power Play unit for the Kings suffered from low ratings during its start but is now dominating the playoffs. The Party of Five Line is about five players who have to deal with losing Robyn Regehr and the lead character is a 24-year-old superstar defenseman that doesn't struggle one bit with the responsibility of being the new head of the family.
AMERICAN JUNIORSAmerican Juniors was a reality television singing competition series that was broadcast on FOX for one season in 2003 and featured a search for the best young American talent.
American Juniors are Jon Quick, Alec Martinez and Trevor Lewis and are the best young American talent currently in the National Hockey League.
Joe Millionaire is what we all will be calling Jake Muzzin when he signs his next contract after the 2014-15 NHL season.
