THE ROYAL HALF GAMEDAY PREVIEW GIF OF THE DAY
GAME 2 RECAP ATTACK:
ARE THE KINGS IN THE NEXT ROUND?:
Not too long after the LA Kings Game 6 victory over the Anaheim Ducks, a photo was released that had the entire Southern California hockey universe chattering.
The kid John Gibson appears none too nervous on eve of Game 7.... pic.twitter.com/Up4yTwkU4t— Pierre LeBrun (@Real_ESPNLeBrun) May 15, 2014
No, that's not the photo I'm talking about but that John Gibson kid is so cuteWHAAAAAAAAAA.
Wait, let me see that again.
I think the most offensive part of this hat is that it's Sharks colors.
Unsurprisingly, John Gibson is not the first Anaheim Duck to show his support of the greatest city in the world.
In all actuality, the photo of John Gibson in a fashion LA Dodgers hat was not the photo that I first spoke of. No, it was this one that was released just after Game 6.
Hold on here... computer, zoom in.
WAIT A SECOND... THAT'S TEEMU SELANNE'S FAMILY'S MUSIC!!!
That's right, due to a thorough #TeamTRH Investigation, the sad Anaheim Ducks fans in the now-classic Trevor Lewis Game 6 goal celebration photo is none other than Teemu Selanne's wife and at least one of his children. You might recognize Sirpa Selanne from such other goal celebrations as "Slamming On The Glass With Corey Perry."
Further proof that the woman in the Trevor Lewis celebration photo is Teemu Selanne’s wife. pic.twitter.com/r34zf4v1CJ— The Royal Half (@theroyalhalf) May 15, 2014
But to be honest, the Trevor Lewis celebration photo isn't the most embarrassing one that Teemu Selanne's family has been seen in recently.
Man, does anyone in the Ducks organization not want to #BeLA???
GAME 7 SUPPLIES
It's another Game 7 for the LA Kings and you know what that means....
And here are a couple other things to get you through the day:
No matter what happens tonight... I love each and every one of you.
As created by Jesse Cohen from All The Kings Men Podcast... The Moulson Index™ highlights an opposing player from tonights game who has the opportunity to score against his former employer, the LA Kings.
Tonight's Moulson Index Spotlight is:
TIM JACKMAN, RIGHT WING
In 21 games versus the LA Kings, Tim Jackman has 2 GOALS and 30 PIMs.
THE ROYAL HALF GAMEDAY PREVIEW TWEET OF THE DAY
Even though there were less than 48 hours between Game 6 and Game 7... LA Kings forward Mike Richards still found some time to do a little Tweeting and Retweeting on Thursday...
That last RT is the most amazing thing ever.
