Kings Assign Andrew Campbell To The Manchester Monarchs
LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Kings have assigned defenseman Andrew Campbell to the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced today.
The 26-year-old made his Kings/NHL debut at Vancouver on April 5 and appeared in three games with the Kings.
He has appeared in 68 games with the Monarchs this season, recording 16 points (3-13=16), 58 penalty minutes and a plus-17 rating.
The 6-4, 206-pound native of Caledonia, Ontario has spent the last six seasons with Manchester.
Campbell was selected by the Kings in the third round (74th overall) in the 2008 NHL Draft.
