KINGS POINTS LEADER vs INJURED JOHN TAVARES UPDATE:
ARE THE KINGS IN THE PLAYOFFS?
LooKING Back:The LA Kings finished off an impressive 3 game East Coast road trip by beating the Pittsburgh Penguins 3-2. And I just wish there was some way to tell whether or not this LA Kings squad is incredibly relaxed and confident right now.
Team debate: if milk chocolate is out of the question, would u rather eat dark choc or white. Can only pick 1. RT 4 dark, fav 4 white. Go.— Alec Martinez (@amartinez_27) March 28, 2014
Well, there you go.
That's right, after the Kings hard-fought victory over the 2nd best team in the Eastern Conference, the team flew back to Los Angeles and pondered a life without milk chocolate. And just in case there was any question about why I love Mike Richards so much...

White Chocolate, forever.
I think we all know that White Chocolate and the Kings just make sense.
But hopefully after this successful East Coast road trip... the Mainstream Hockey Media will be talking less about the LA Kings choice in chocolate and more about their amazing back-checking center.
#SelkeSmooth... it starts now.

ESPN's Pierre LeBrun advocates Anze Kopitar for Selke http://t.co/f0McX7dU8m— Jewels frm the Crown (@JFTC_Kings) March 28, 2014
Make sure you read Jewels From The Crown's great piece on why Anze Kopitar should win the Selke. And if the LA Kings can hold on to win the Jennings Trophy... this could be one of the biggest post-season awards years for the LA Kings ever.
Ok... maybe the 2nd biggest post-season awards year ever.
