KINGS POINTS LEADER vs INJURED JOHN TAVARES UPDATE:

LooKING Back:

The LA Kings snapped their 3 game losing streak with a 2-1 shootout victory over the Washington Capitals. A lot of milestones were reached in this game including Darryl Sutter's 500th NHL victory and Jon Quick matching Rogie Vachon's career wins as a LA Kings goaltender.

Sigh.

But none of those milestones were as important as this one from Thursday night.

The milestone of a LA Kings trade acquisition actually paying off!

LA TOURISM BOARD:

The Florida Panthers are in town... and I think we've finally found a franchise with a worse goaltending history than the LA Kings!

Here's a larger version.

Since Roberto Luongo and Jon Quick are firmly entrenched as the first name on their franchises all-time wins list... I thought we should take a look at another list of firsts... the first Tweets from several prominent members of the LA Kings franchise!!!

Oh man! They've been hilarious from Day One!

Well, I'm sure the 1st Tweet from the man behind the LA Kings Twitter Curtain was great, right? RIGHT?!?

BetaWolf

FYI, Beta Wolf hasn't tweeted since last Christmas.

Miss you, boo.

Ok, well what about some of the prominent journalists that cover the LA Kings Organization... I'm sure they had a lot to say from the start!

Hmmm.

Okay.

That's so weird that Mayor's 1st Tweet would be self-promotion.

Dennis has just been tracking Dustin Brown's ice time since Day 1.

Broken promises.

Pretty sure this was a DM.

Called it!

Okay, so maybe the LA Kings press didn't have the most exciting first Tweets... but what about some of the higher-ranking members of the organization?

I'm contractually not allowed to make fun of these above Tweets.

So that's how the Kings opening song was selected!

Well, what about the broadcast team?

That's so Jim Fox.

Ha, Aaron thought Twitter was Facebook!

#Kompon forever.

I literally just signed up for hosting school.

Honestly, who cares about what the people in suits said on Twitter first? How about the guys in uniform?!?

"Tweet Site!!!"

Not sure you can say "sandy" and "pump some iron" in the same Tweet.

Sure, it's been fun to look back at all of the LA Kings players and their first Tweets... and I can't wait for 8 years from now when we look back and see Jake Muzzin's first Tweet!
