Los Angeles Kings forward Jordan Nolan has been suspended for one game, without pay, for punching an unsuspecting opponent, Edmonton Oilers forward Jesse Joensuu, during NHL Game No. 967 in Edmonton on Sunday, March 9, the National Hockey League\u2019s Department of Player Safety announced today.\r\n

NEW YORK -- Los Angeles Kings forward Jordan Nolan has been suspended for one game, without pay, for punching an unsuspecting opponent, Edmonton Oilers forward Jesse Joensuu, during NHL Game No. 967 in Edmonton on Sunday, March 9, the National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety announced today.

The incident occurred at 19:56 of the second period. Nolan was assessed a double-minor penalty for roughing.
