LA TOURISM BOARD:

As you may have heard, @PumperNicholl and myself have come up to Edmonton for the weekend thanks to the great folks at Oilers Nation and Edmonton Tourism. And when PumperNicholl and I travel... we only do it in the most first class way possible...   In addition to all the fun we've been having in Edmonton... there was an ulterior motive in coming up here this weekend.

Hello, old friend.

It's hard to believe that it's just been under 2 months since Ben Scrivens was traded to the Edmonton Oilers. But the fact that he's already become a fan favorite here in the City of Champions shouldn't come as a surprise to any of us Los Angeles Kings fans.

Scrivens only played 19 games for the Kings... but was one of the most beloved players by the fans in recent memory. Not because he was a great goalie... but because he inspired great memes.

Ben and his wife, Jen, are going to be in Edmonton for at least two more years... so treat him well, Oilers fans. And hopefully you can learn a thing or two from him.

I'm just glad that Ben Scrivens in playing for a team like the Edmonton Oilers that can use their impressive digital skills to help showcase a player of his caliber.

Hey, Edmonton Oilers... sweet hard drive folder icons on your media scrum digital background.

As created by Jesse Cohen from All The Kings Men Podcast... The Moulson Index™ highlights an opposing player from tonights game who has the opportunity to score against his former employer, the LA Kings.

Tonight's Moulson Index Spotlight (non-Ben Scrivens Edition) is:

RYAN SMITH, LEFT WINGER   In 56 games vs the LA Kings, Smyth has 25 GOALS and 24 ASSISTS.
