OILERS + FLAMES VS THE KINGS POINTS UPDATE:

LooKING Back:

The LA Kings are in the midst of a 1-8-1 slump over their last 10 games in which they've been outscored 30 to 13. I think it's time for some of the LA Kings players to take a long, hard stare in the mirror at themselves...

... and figure out where their hearts are.

LA TOURISM BOARD:

The last time the LA Kings played the Columbus Blue Jackets, it didn't go so well. Thankfully, the Olympic Break is upon us after tonight's game and our players (and fans) can get some much needed rest. Well, all the players except the LA Kings' 6 best players that is!

TOP 5 THINGS THE LA KINGS PLAYERS SHOULD BRING TO SOCHI!!!

1) Knobs

Every hockey player needs a good solid knob to help them play comfortably, right?

Well, unfortunately, in Sochi... you need a different kind of knob to help you play comfortably!

Doorknobs!

That's right, if you want to get a decent nights sleep before playing in your big preliminary hockey matchup... I'd advise the LA Kings players to bring their own doorknobs. You know... so they can lock their hotel room doors.

You know... maybe we could kill two birds with one stone here....

... and use a hockey puck as a doorknob! No, really... this is a thing.

2) Lightbulbs

Apparently, lightbulbs are at a premium in Sochi right now. Even our own Helene Elliott has been struggling to light up her hotel room.

Well, thankfully the players from the LA Kings have some lightbulbs that have hardly been used and they can easily pack them before the game tonight to take to Sochi!

The Goal Lights at Staples Center!!!

3) Anti-virus

Anytime you are traveling to a remote country that may not have the most updated indoor plumbing... you have to make sure you bring some sort of anti-virus.

Visit NBCNews.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

Ohhh, that kind of an anti-virus.

So if no doorknobs or lightbulbs weren't bad enough... apparently the minute you set foot in Russia... your phone will be hacked. And there is nothing worse than when a hockey player's phone gets hacked.

As created by Jesse Cohen from All The Kings Men Podcast... The Moulson Index™ highlights an opposing player from tonights game who has the opportunity to score against his former employer, the LA Kings.

Tonight's Moulson Index Spotlight is:

JACK JOHNSON, DEFENSE

In 5 games versus the LA Kings in his career, Jack Johnson has 1 GOAL & 2 ASSISTS
