OILERS VS KOPITAR POINTS UPDATE:
LooKING Back:Well... as a wise man once said... you can't win 'em all. But if you are the 2013-14 LA Kings... you can win most of them apparently. The LA Kings lost 3-1 to the defending Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks... finishing off a 4 game road trip through the bitter cold in which the Kings picked up 6 of a possible 8 points. Yet they are still in the exact position they were when the trip started... showing just how much of an awful fight the Western Conference will be this season. And even though it was only the 2nd time in 16 games that Ben Scrivens gave up more than 2 goals in a game... The Professor showed exactly why he is still the LA Kings #1 Goalie right now.

LA TOURISM BOARD:Ah, the Edmonton Oilers. Everyone, including myself, felt like this was the year the Edmonton Oilers could finally break through. And instead, here we are today, and the Edmonton Oilers are the 3rd worst team in the NHL... 18 points out of a playoff spot in the Western Conference. In fact, the Oilers are so bad they are 10 points out of a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

Awkward.Edmonton Oilers fans, led by the great JSBM Revolution, have taken the Edmonton Oilers rallying cry of a hashtag, #HereComeTheOilers... and shown us all exactly what it means.
How far past rock bottom are you when not losing after one period is a huge success? #AskingForAFriend #HereComeTheOilers — Jeanshorts (@JSBMrevolution) December 14, 2013

The Oilers marketing group probably thought they were geniuses when they came up with #HereComeTheOilers motto pic.twitter.com/0laZQvAgRE — Nahreman Issa (@NahremanIssa) December 14, 2013Honestly, the one part of the Edmonton Oilers organization that has shown the most passion this season has been the Edmonton Oilers Twitter Account. From November 19th, when the Florida Panthers were visiting Pacific Division rival, Vancouver Canucks...

@EdmontonOilers - Maybe leave the trash talking to teams who make the playoffs? #sevenyeardrought — Vancouver Canucks (@VanCanucks) November 20, 2013And then, just like the Edmonton Oilers team has done all season long... their Twitter Account totally turtled and backed down.
@VanCanucks Solid shot back. Kudos! Twitter is fun. Best of luck tonight! #westisbest — Edmonton Oilers (@EdmontonOilers) November 20, 2013But it was too late... Vancouver was out for blood...

I mean seriously... have you ever seen the Vancouver Canucks get so burned by another NHL team making fun of them for not winning a Stanley Cup?
I think the @LAKings Players’ Christmas Photo has one thing that the @VanCanucks one doesn’t. pic.twitter.com/ZngOc4jVdV — The Royal Half (@theroyalhalf) December 12, 2013
