OILERS + FLAMES VS THE KINGS POINTS UPDATE:

LooKING Back:

Last Saturday night, even though the final score may not have been the result LA Kings fans wanted... ...it's still obvious to the rest of the NHL that Los Angeles rules. This is not the first time an opposing team has made a specific trip to In-N-Out Burger while on a Los Angeles road trip... but I'm just surprised that the LA Kings didn't get in on the order as well so they could eat their feelings away like they have in the past:

WHAT WE LEARNED FROM THE PAST GAME:

We learned that this is Ben Scrivens' world... and we are just renting space in it.

The Royal Half Graphics Department leaves no stone unturned.

But more importantly than what I learned last game is what I learned last night at the Los Angeles Sports Arena.

Pearl Jam will be hearing from the LA Kings Legal Team.

LA TOURISM BOARD:

The Vancouver Canucks have lost six of their last 7 games, only beating the Eastern Conference's Columbus Blue Jackets during that stretch. And many Canucks fans are ready to throw in the towel on the season. Which actually isn't that surprising considering how the Vancouver Canucks want to be viewed throughout the hockey community...

No seriously... the statue outside of Rogers Arena that best represents the Canucks franchise is a coach literally surrendering.

The Canucks losing to the Chicago Blackhawks... why I never!

Oh wait nevermind... they do it all the time.

And don't forget... the last time the LA Kings played the Vancouver Canucks... this amazing photo happened.

As created by Jesse Cohen from All The Kings Men Podcast... The Moulson Index™ highlights an opposing player from tonights game who has the opportunity to score against his former employer, the LA Kings.

Tonight's Moulson Index Spotlight is:

BRAD RICHARDSON, CENTER

In 6 games versus the LA Kings in his career, Brad Richardson has 0 POINTS & 6 PIMs

THE ROYAL HALF GAMEDAY PREVIEW TWEET OF THE DAY

Of course, The Scrivens go to an auto-show in LA that isn't the LA Auto Show.

That's just how they roll.
