LooKING Back:

Tuesday night in Tampa Bay.... barf, cry, barf.

WHAT WE LEARNED FROM THE PAST GAME:

Now we know why Tampa Bay ran up the score Tuesday night.

Never change, Tampa. Never change.

LA TOURISM BOARD:

Instead of waiting 14 games like he did last season, Nashville Predators Captain, Shea Weber, scored his 1st goal of the season Tuesday night in the Predators 4-3 win over the Florida Panthers. This season, the Predators are celebrating their 15th anniversary of becoming a NHL team by struggling to score goals. Oh wait... that's what they do every season to honor the franchise!

Barry Trotz shows the number of goals the Preds average per game.

People love to make fun of the Nashville Predators for being a hockey team in the South but over the past 15 years, they really have created quite the fan atmosphere at Bridgestone Arena. And that knowledge and excitement extends all throughout the franchise, especially the season ticket department, right? RIGHT?!?

That's right, just before NHL Training Camps opened, an email was sent out to season ticket holders that concluded with the now infamous signoff... "Go Perds!" And fans of NBC's Parks and Recreation everywhere... giggled uncontrollably.

And since he's helped with NHL re-branding before, Ironsight Design has come up with some concepts for a brand new Nashville Perds look.

I mean seriously... what sort of two-bit sports franchise can't even spell super important hockey related items on the emails they send out to fans?!?

To be fair to the LA Kings Community Outreach Department... it's been only 1 year, 4 months, 6 days since the LA Kings won the Stanley Cup.

As created by Jesse Cohen from All The Kings Men Podcast... The Moulson Index™ highlights an opposing player from tonights game who has the opportunity to score against his former employer, the LA Kings.

Tonight's Moulson Index Spotlight is:

RICH CLUNE, LEFT WINGER

In 3 games versus the LA Kings in his career, Rich Clune has 0 POINTS & 7 PIMs

THE ROYAL HALF GAMEDAY KINGS WEEKLY SNEAK PEEK

Into a deep backbend, that is.

Here is a sneak preview of tonight's episode:

Matt Greene is the only guy I know that can pull off the Deep V Henley.

THE ROYAL HALF GAMEDAY PREVIEW TWEET OF THE DAY

...and Jim Fox told Patrick O'Neal to not be such a diva.

and while Patrick O'Neal was yelling out his window...
