LEE STEMPNIAK VS JEFF CARTER'S GOALS UPDATE:
ARE THE LA KINGS IN THE PLAYOFFS?
It's been really exciting to write these GAMEDAY PREVIEWS
and be a part of the LA Kings Social Media Team this season. But you can imagine my surprise when this past Friday the team told me to head over to Robyn Regehr's new apartment in the South Bay and interview him before the game against the Edmonton Oilers. I have to imagine getting traded with 12 games left in the regular season is a big adjustment for any professional hockey player... especially one going from Upstate New York to Sunny Southern California. Upon my arrival, the fact that Robyn Regehr's apartment was empty didn't surprise me... but the one piece of art he had up on the wall did catch me a bit off guard.
Well, at least no member of the Edmonton Oilers has ever embarrassed Robyn Regehr.
Oh... and LA Kings fans... I wouldn't get too comfortable about Robyn Regehr these last few games of the regular season. You never know...
So even though it's 2013... if I were you Ales Hemsky... I'd look both ways when crossing the blue line.
Ok, maybe the 2nd best.
