Kings Announce Roster Moves
Alec Martinez Activated; Andrew Campbell Assigned To Manchester
LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Kings have activated defenseman Alec Martinez from the injured reserve list and have assigned defenseman Andrew Campbell to the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced today.
Martinez, 25, has missed the last seven games after suffering an upper body injury Feb. 11 at St. Louis. The 6-1, 206 pound native of Rochester Hills, Mich. has played 11 games with the Kings this season, recording two points (1-1=2) and four penalty minutes.
Campbell, 25, did not appear in a game with the Kings. The 6-4, 210-pound native of Caledonia, Ontario has played in 28 games for the Monarchs this season and has recorded eight points (1-7=8), 26 penalty minutes and a plus-13 rating.
The Kings return to action tonight in Vancouver with game-time slated for 7 p.m. The game will be broadcast on FOX Sports West – including a pre-game show -- and KTLK AM 1150.
