The LA Kings and the American Heart Association have teamed up to present “Fit To Be King Runners Club With Daryl Evans.” The club, which is hosted by Kings Radio Commentator and member of the LA Kings Alumni Association Presented By Toyota Daryl Evans, is designed to promote the importance of exercise and a healthier lifestyle as well as raise money for the American Heart Association.

The runners club will begin the first week of January to coincide with New Year’s resolutions and “run” through mid April. Registration is $50 and includes the following:

• LA Kings Dry-Fit T-shirt
• LA Kings merchandise and autographed prizes for hitting Runners Club milestones*
• Opportunity to run weekly with Daryl Evans or special LA Kings guests

Runners Club Schedule:
El Segundo – Jan. 6, 13, 20 and 27 (8 to 9 a.m.)
Manhattan Beach – Feb. 3, 10, 17 and 24 (8 to 9 a.m.)
Hermosa Beach – March 3, 17, 24 and 31 (8 to 9 a.m.)
Manhattan Beach – April 7 and 14 (8 to 9 a.m.)

*Running Milestone Prizes (cumulative distance):
15 miles – LA Kings water bottle/backpack
25 miles – Signed LA Kings player card
40 miles – LA Kings hat
50+ miles – Entry into a raffle to win a game-used player signed stick
Distances per run will vary. E-mails will be sent each week to all registered runners with the upcoming route.
