Kings to release final season seat packages to public
Ability to purchase season tickets for upcoming season is limited as club is nearly capped out of season tickets
LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Kings, the 2012 Stanley Cup Champions, announced that beginning today they will put the remaining inventory of non-premium season tickets on sale.
These will be available for purchase online beginning at 2 p.m. by visiting www.lakings.com/selectaseat.
Following last week’s highly-successful “Select-A-Seat” online event, less than 300 non-premium season tickets are available for the upcoming 2012-13 season. Once these last remaining season tickets are sold, the Kings will release information on their “Season Ticket Wait List,” the first-ever in franchise history. Limited season tickets still remain for premier seats, which include access to all Kings, Lakers and Clippers games.
Individual game tickets are expected to go on sale in September. Tickets for two Kings preseason “home” games are currently on sale – the Kings will host the Colorado Avalanche at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on September 29 and the Ducks at Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario on October 6. The game in Ontario will feature a split-arena (Kings fans on one side, Ducks fans on the other side).
Tickets for the club’s preseason games at STAPLES Center -- on September 24 versus the Phoenix Coyotes and October 8 versus the New York Rangers – will go on sale later this summer.
The Kings open the regular season at home on October 12 against the Rangers at 7:30 p.m.
