THE CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION CENTER AND DUSTIN BROWN AND WIFE NICOLE
UNITE IN THE FIGHT AGAINST CHILD ABUSE

LOS ANGELES – In honor of April Child Abuse Prevention Month, the Child Abuse Prevention Center and Los Angeles Kings captain/forward Dustin Brown and his wife Nicole, are pleased to host the 9th Annual "Not So Serious" Golf Outing.  The royal themed event will take place on April 3 at 1 pm at the gorgeous Trump National Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes, California. The Los Angeles Kings Care Foundation, The Angels Baseball Foundation and Chase Bank will serve as sponsors of the event.

“The Los Angeles Kings Hockey Club and Dustin and Nicole Brown have been long time supporters of the Child Abuse Prevention Center,” said Scott Trotter, executive director at the Prevention Center. “We are thrilled to have the Browns chair this unique event celebrating April Child Abuse Prevention Month. Through our partnership with the Los Angeles Kings, we can continue to provide child abuse prevention education programs to Southern California families who are at the greatest risk of abuse.”

The Browns will follow in the footsteps of founder and former Chairperson Jessica Erstad. Golfers will enjoy lunch provided by Rubios and cocktails out on the course while playing nine holes of golf infused with fun activities such as teeing off with Dustin Brown's hockey stick. The day will conclude with an awards ceremony and live auction. Tickets are priced at $250 per golfer or $1,000 for a foursome. Sponsorship levels range from $1,500 to $15,000, with unique marketing opportunities available. Each player in attendance will receive a foursome replay voucher card priced at $145 per golfer courtesy of Trump National Golf Club. About The Child Abuse Prevention Center
The Child Abuse Prevention Center is dedicated to serving at-risk children and families in crisis.  As Orange County’s leading not-for-profit organization focused exclusively on the prevention of child abuse, the early intervention programs of the Prevention Center have a well-documented record of working to prevent child abuse before it occurs.
