LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Kings have placed forward Scott Parse on the injured reserve list (lower body injury), Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced today.
 
Parse, 27, has two goals in nine games with the Kings this season, his third with the club.  The native of Portage, Michigan, was originally selected by the Kings in the sixth-round (174th overall) at the 2004 NHL Entry Draft and he has 14 goals and 30 points in 73 career NHL regular season games – all with the Kings. 

The Kings continue their four-game homestand tomorrow night by hosting Vancouver at STAPLES Center (7:30 p.m.).  Prior to tomorrow’s game, the Kings are scheduled to have a 10 a.m. morning skate at Toyota Sports Center in El Segundo.  Thursday’s game will be broadcast on FS West, KTLK 1150 AM and along the Kings Radio Network.  Kings fans are also encouraged to join Nick Nickson and Daryl Evans at The Mixing Room at the JW Marriott LA Live for Kings Talk after Thursday’s game.

The Los Angeles Kings’ annual Tip-A-King Event is set for this Sunday, November 13 (from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.) at the Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City (10202 West Washington Blvd).  Tickets are on sale now at LAKings.com/tipaking. 

Tip-A-King is the single largest annual fundraiser for the Kings Care Foundation.  Proceeds from this year’s event will benefit the LA Kings BloodMobile, which serves as a blood drive supply truck to increase the much needed collection of life-saving blood for the most seriously ill and injured children at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
