Kings Acquire Stefan Legein, Draft Pick From Philadelphia

Legein, who turns 24 next month, is a 5-10, 185-pound right wing from Oakville, Ontario, Canada. Last season he played for Adirondack (AHL) and Greenville (ECHL). He has played in the AHL over the last four years both with Adirondack and Syracuse. In 2009-10 he recorded 24 goals.
Legein was originally selected by Columbus in the second-round (37th overall) of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft. He attended training camp with the Flyers this year and was assigned to Adirondack on September 25.
Legein is expected to report to the Kings’ AHL affiliate, the Manchester Monarchs.
The Kings next play in New Jersey tomorrow, Thursday, at 4 p.m. (PT) and at Philadelphia on Saturday at 4 p.m. (PT). Both games will air on FS West and on AM 1150.
The Kings return to Los Angeles after the game in Philadelphia. The Kings’ season opener at STAPLES Center is Tuesday, October 18, against St. Louis (7:30 p.m.).
