Said Brown: “It was a unanimous decision for the team to contribute to the relief efforts in Haiti and to contribute to the great work the American Red Cross is doing on the ground. We are hoping that our fans join us and donate to this important cause by logging onto www.redcross.org.”
The Kings and the Kings Care Foundation also this month will:
- Host American Red Cross Volunteers to accept donations at all STAPLES Center entrances for each Kings home game.
- Set-up American Red Cross informational tables on the concourse for all games.
- Donate a portion of Kings Care Silent Auction proceeds to benefit Haiti Relief Effort, including a large game-used sticks and game-used socks auction on February 6.
- Ask all Kings Community Corner participants to donate $1 for every ticket they use.
