Johnson in his fourth season with the Kings, is tied for second amongst Kings defenseman in scoring with eight points (2-6=8), is second on the Kings with 23:22 TOI/game while leading the Kings in the shootout (3-of-5, .600, 1 game-deciding goal). Johnson, the third overall pick in the 2005 NHL Entry draft by the Carolina Hurricanes, was acquired by Los Angeles with Oleg Tverdovsky in exchange for center Eric Belanger and defenseman Tim Gleason on Sept. 29, 2006.
He has tallied 11-19=30 in 148 games with the Kings.
