TWO ON ONE EQUALS ZERO
In the season opener, Matthew Lombardi and Peter Mueller skate in on a two-on-one break and Jonathan Quick moves 'quickly' to his left to get a glove on the puck in a tough loss in the Kings season opener.

NO GOAL; NO CELEBRATION
With the Kings on the power play, sniper Rick Nash is looking for a shorty streaking down the ice with speed, he cuts to the center of the ice and Jonathan Quick slides to his right and makes the stop with his right pad. Columbus' Antoine Vermette throws his hands up in celebration, thinking the puck had gone into the net.

NOT HAVING THAT HAVLAT
Mikko Koivu sends the puck inside to Martin Havlat who is skating by the crease and tries to sneak the puck past Jonathan Quick, who has another idea.

NOT TOO KEEN ON STEEN
With LA protecting a 2-0 lead, Alexander Steen take a shots and Jonathan Quick stacks the pads to make the stop.

DRIVE THROUGH IS CLOSED MR. MACDONALD
In a tight 2-1 game, Andy MacDonald starts a mad dash for the puck with his pass on the net and in the ensuing scrum, a diving Blues forward sends the puck to MacDonald who has an open cage the Jonathan Quick closes.
