LAKings.com\'s Plays of the Week

LAKings.com has selected our favorite plays of the week, now its your turn.

Los Angeles played the first four games of a five-game road trip, going 2-2, losing two games by a combined 11-1 score (4-1 at Chicago, 7-0 at Atlanta) while also pulling out a 5-2 win at Carolina and a 2-1 SO win over the Tampa Bay Lightning.

BROWN LOWERS THE BOOM
Late in a 4-1 loss at Chicago, Dustin Brown catches Brian Campbell skating across center ice and "lowers the boom" on him.

A LITTLE BIT MORE TOUGHER
John Madden puts a shot on net that Jonathan Quick easily stops. The puck is then recovered by Chicago and Madden gets an open look in close and Quick has to stack the pads to make a "little bit more tougher."

SMIYH USES HIS FEET
LA on the power play, NHL-points leader Anze Kopitar gets the puck down low to Dustin Brown. Ryan Smyth, positioned in front of the net minder, controls the puck with his right skate and back hands it into the net.

COULD HAVE FOOLED ME
Who would have thought making saves like this that the Kings would lose this game 7-0?

KOPI OVER AND OUT
Amid a crowd of boos as Tampa fans were unhappy that their OT goal was over turned, Anze Kopitar scores the lone goal in the shoot out to give the Kings a much needed, 2-1 win.
