Save the Date - Fantasy Camp 2010
The Los Angeles Kings Alumni Association, in coordination with the Kings Care Foundation and the Kings Fan Development department, is asking fans to Save the Date for the second-annual Kings Fantasy Camp 2010, set for Thursday, Jan. 14 to Saturday, Jan. 16, 2010 at Toyota Sports Center, the official practice facility of the Los Angeles Kings, located in beautiful El Segundo, Calif., and STAPLES Center, the sports and entertainment capital of the world, in Downtown Los Angeles.

The three-day camp will include:

  • Scrimmages against Kings alumni at both STAPLES Center and Toyota Sports Center
  • Tickets to see the Kings vs. the Anaheim Ducks on Jan. 14
  • Tickets to see the Kings vs. the Boston Bruins on Jan. 16
  • Receptions with Kings Alumni
  • A Gift Bag
  • And much, much more.

Scheduled alumni include:
Hall of Famer Luc Robitaille, Jim Fox, Daryl Evans, Ian Turnbull and many more.

ABOUT THE KINGS ALUMNI:

Daryl Evans
  • Played six seasons in the NHL
  • Played with the Kings from 1981-85
  • Scored the game-winning goal in the 1982 “Miracle on Manchester” playoff game
  • Recorded 13 points in 10 playoff games with Kings in 1982
  • Set to enter his 11th season as the Kings’ Radio color commentator

Jim Fox
  • Played in 578 games during his 10-year NHL career, all with the Kings
  • Ranks eighth on the Kings all-time scoring list
  • Scored at least 30 goals three times in career
  • Set to enter his 20th season as Kings’ TV color commentator
  • Named by Sports Illustrated in 2006 as best hockey analyst

Luc Robitaille
  • Played for the Kings for 14 seasons, appearing in 1,077 games.
  • Kings All-Time leading goal scorer with 557 goals.
  • One of five players to have his jersey retired by the Kings.
  • Named Kings President, Business Operations on May 25, 2007.
  • Set to Enter the Hockey Hall of Fame this Fall.

Ian Turnbull
  • Played 10 seasons in the NHL
  • Played with the Kings during the 1981-82 season
  • Holds the NHL record with five goals in one game by a defenseman (1977)
  • Serves as secretary of the Kings Alumni Association
