The Los Angeles Kings will then host the Colorado Avalanche on Sept. 26 at 6 p.m. in Frozen Fury XII.
Led by Kings Alumnus and Radio Commentator Daryl Evans, this two-day clinic includes two 90-minute on-ice sessions and one lower level to Frozen Fury OR a 100-level ticket to the Kings vs. the Columbus Blue Jackets on Oct. 25.
Evans will emphasize skating, stick handling, passing, and shooting during the two-day clinic, which will take place at the MGM Grand Arena, where the Kings will later host the Avalanche.
Evans is set to begin his 11th season as the Kings radio commentator, teaming with veteran play-by-play announcer Nick Nickson and heard on all club radio broadcasts on flagship station KTLK AM 1150 and along the Kings Radio Network.
Originally selected by the Kings in the ninth-round (178th overall) of the 1980 NHL Entry Draft, the left wing recorded 52 points (22-30=52) in 113 career NHL games with the Kings, Washington Capitals and Toronto Maples Leafs. Also, in 11 career playoff games, Evans, 48 (1/12/61), registered 13 points (all of those 13 points came with the Kings during the 1982 playoffs).
