Brown: Plan a Play Day for Kids
Kings Captain Dustin Brown has partnered with KaBOOM!, helping build kids playgrounds in the Los Angeles area.
Dustin Brown, the Los Angeles Kings and the national nonprofit KaBOOM! have been working together to make sure kids have great places to play and this summer, we want YOU to get in on the action.

Log on to www.kaboom.org/playday and sign up to plan a Play Day event for your neighborhood. A Play Day can be anything from a backyard barbecue to a block party, and by signing up, you'll join thousands of people across the country who will be holding free, fun-for-the-whole-family events that celebrate play from Sept. 19 - 27, 2009.

PLUS, plan your event at www.kaboom.org/playday and you could receive a free Play Day kit (valued at $100) full of toys, games PLUS a limited-edition autographed Dustin Brown Play Day card.

Register your Play Day today at: www.kaboom.org/playday

ABOUT KaBOOM!
KaBOOM! is a national non-profit dedicated to bringing play back into the lives of our children. We passionately believe that play has purpose. We are driven to create a movement in support of this belief. To create this mass action we do three things. We facilitate building innovative, kid-inspired playspaces, using a community-build model which improves the well-being of the children we serve as well as the communities in which they live. We create platforms and opportunities for the collaborative sharing and continual improvement of knowledge and tools needed for anyone to build playgrounds on their own. And we are advocates of the importance for each child to have a safe and engaging place, as well as the time, to play - knowing that this experience makes children happier, fitter, smarter, and more socially adept and creative in the here and now and in the future.
