LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Kings have recalled left wing Jeff Giuliano from the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League and have placed left wing Ryan Flinn on the injured reserve list (retroactive to November 27) with a concussion, Kings President, Hockey Operations/General Manager Dave Taylor announced today.

Giuliano, 26, has played in seven games with the Kings this season, including his Kings/NHL debut on November 5, and has zero points and two penalty minutes. The 5-9, 205-pound native of Nashua, New Hampshire, has also played in 12 games for the Monarchs, where he has eight points (4-4=8) and nine penalty minutes. He has also posted a plus-seven in the plus-minus category with Manchester.

Flinn, 25, has played in two games with the Kings this season and has zero points and five penalty minutes. The 6-5, 248-pound native of Halifax, Nova Scotia, suffered the injury on November 26 in a game against Chicago at STAPLES Center. Flinn also has played in six games with the Monarchs this season, where he has one point (an assist) and 38 penalty minutes, second most on the club.

The Kings (16-9-1, 33 points, tied for first place in Pacific Division) continue a four-game road trip at the Corel Centre versus Ottawa tonight at 4:30 p.m. (PT). The contest will air on FSN West, on KSPN Radio 710 and along the Kings Radio Network.
