KINGS RECALL FLINN; ASSIGN HAUSER TO MONARCHS
Flinn, 25, has one assist in five games this season with the Monarchs and he leads the team with 38 penalty minutes. The 6-5, 248-pound native of Halifax, Nova Scotia, has not appeared in a regular season game with the Kings this season. Signed by the Kings as a free agent on January 2, 2002, Flinn has one goal and 79 penalty minutes in 29 career NHL games – all with the Kings. He will wear sweater No. 49.
Hauser was recalled by the Kings on November 14 but did not appear in a game. The 25-year-old has a record of 5-2-1, a goals-against-average of 3.55 and a save-percentage of .894 in eight games with the Monarchs this season. Hauser, a 6-2, 194-pound native of Bovey, Minnesota, was signed by the Kings as a free agent on July 8, 2004.
The Kings (13-6-1, 27 points; tied with Dallas for first place in the Pacific Division) conclude a two-game homestand at STAPLES Center versus Colorado tonight at 7:30 p.m. The contest will air on FSN West, on KSPN Radio 710 and along the Kings Radio Network.
