KINGS ANNOUNCE 10TH ANNUAL JUND WINNER

In Michael’s honor, the Jund family, the Kings and the Kings Care Foundation are pleased to announce that Zachary Kleiman and Christina King (both interns with the Lakers Public Relations department) are the co-recipients of the 10th annual MICHAEL JUND SPORTS MEDIA SCHOLARSHIP AWARD.
Designed to reward hard-working college students who shared Michael’s goal of working in the communications side of the sports industry, Christina and Zachary will be honored today during the first period of the Kings-Minnesota game at STAPLES Center. They will each receive a $1,500 scholarship toward their education.
Christina, who is from Irvine, is a junior and a communications major at UCLA. Zachary is from Chicago. He is currently a junior at USC where he is majoring in psychology.
The award is based upon the qualities that made Michael an excellent worker - strong technical knowledge of sports, superior media/public relations writing and communication skills, dedication to the job and an ever-present positive attitude.
