KING PLAYS OF THE WEEK (FEB. 11)

LAKings.com would like to know what your favorite Kings play of the Week was for the Week of Feb. 2 -11 and we use the word "week" very loosely, as we got so caught up in that Kings road trip, we thought we would wait for it to end.

The Kings concluded a five-game road trip with four-straight wins over the Ottawa Senators (1-0), Washington Capitals (5-4), New Jersey Devils (3-1) and the Islanders, 4-3 in a shootout.

HANDZUS WINS IT
Brad Richardson and Wayne Simmonds do some solid work on the boards and feed a pass to Michal Handzus behind the Ottawa net. Handzus wraps around and scores the only goal of the game as the Kings win at Ottawa, 1-0 to rebound from a tough loss at Montreal to begin the road trip.

11 IN 13
Anze Kopitar wins the faceoff to open the second period and carries the puck into the Capitals zone. Kopi then connects with Alexander Frolov on the wing, who draws the defense and passes it back to Kopitar who had skated past the rest of the Caps "D." Kopitar then makes a pretty move to put the Kings up 1-0, and cause Kings announcer Jim Fox to shout, "woa."

THE HANDZUS SHOW
With the Kings on the penalty kill and the sound of the Caps public address announcer in the background announcing the earlier Kopitar goal, Alexander Frolov is passed the puck and twirls around and fires a shot on net. A hard-charging Michal Handzus cleans up the rebound and puts the Kings on top with a goal in his second straight game.

KOPI AND FRO GIVE AND GO
Anze Kopitar and Alexander Frolov play a little "Give-And-Go" with the Islanders and score an easy goal.

JACK'D UP
Kings defenseman Jack Johnson ends the Kings-Islanders game and a 4-1-0 road trip when he converts his first-career shootout goal giving the Kings a 4-3 win at New York.
