This month's winner of the LAKings.com Guitar Hero of the Month is Alexander Frolov, tallying 45% of the nearly 550 votes cast on LAKings.com.

Frolov also won for the month of January, with Anze Kopitar winning for the months of November and December and Jason LaBarbera taking the online award for the month of October. The Kings first winner was rookie goaltender Jonathan Bernier, taking the vote for the Month of September.

Frolov had a great month, scoring 7-10=17 in 12 games and finished a team-high plus-8 for the month of February...earned his third career hat trick vs. St. Louis on Feb. 21, including the game-winning goal...tallied two game-winning goals during the month (also on Feb. 5 at NYR)...tallied six multi-point games (Feb. 5 at NYR, Feb. 7 at DET, Feb. 9 at PIT, Feb. 15 at CGY, Feb. 21 vs. STL and Feb. 23 vs. CHI)...tallied three assists vs. CGY on Feb. 15...scored points in eight of the 12 games...had two three-game point streaks (Feb. 5-9, 2-5=7; Feb. 12-16, 2-3=5)...his 10 assists were a team high.

This month's other nominees were: Anze Kopitar (36%) and Patrick O'Sullivan (19%).

Anze Kopitar - Scored a team-high eight goals during the month...tallied 8-6=14 overall in 12 games and was a minus-1...scored points in eight of 12 games...tallied five multi-point games during the second month of the year (Feb. 5 at NYR, 1-1=2; Feb. 10 at CBJ, 2-0=2; Feb. 21 vs. STL, 1-1=2; Feb. 23 vs. CHI, 1-2=3; Feb. 28 at EDM, 1-1=2)...had two three-game point streaks (Feb. 10-15, 3-1=4; Feb. 21-28, 3-5=8).

Patrick O'Sullivan - Scored 5-8=13 in 12 games for the month...tallied the game-winning goal vs. CGY on Feb. 15...tallied two multi-point games (Feb. 15 vs. CGY; Feb. 21 vs. STL)...scored a career-high 1-4=5 vs. STL on Feb. 21...had a three-game goal scoring streak from Feb. 21-28, scoring 3-4=7 over that span...also had a three-game point streak from Feb. 10-15, scoring 1-3=4 over that span.
