KINGS ADD BRAD NORTON TO TRAINING CAMP
LOS ANGELES – Former Los Angeles Kings defenseman Brad Norton will attend the team's 2005 training camp as a non-roster player, Kings Senior Vice President/General Manager Dave Taylor announced today. Norton will be one of 14 players attending the camp as a tryout. A total of 65 players are expected to attend the camp that gets underway tomorrow at the Toyota Sports Center in El Segundo.

Norton, 30, last played for the Kings during the 2003-04 season. The native 6-6, 242-pound native of Cambridge, Massachusetts, collected one assist and 77 penalty minutes in 20 games with the Kings. He later was claimed off waivers by Washington on March 4, 2004, and went on to record one assist and 17 penalty minutes in 16 games with the Capitals that same season.

Norton, originally selected by the Edmonton Oilers in the ninth-round (215th overall) in the 1993 NHL Entry Draft, has amassed 10 points (3-7=10) and 236 penalty minutes in 111 career NHL regular season games with the Kings, Washington and Florida.
