KINGS AGREE TO CONTRACT TERMS WITH PARROS AND GIULIANO
LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Kings have agreed to terms on a two-year contract with right wing George Parros and left wing Jeff Giuliano , Kings Senior Vice President/General Manager Dave Taylor announced today. Per club policy, terms of the agreement were not announced.

Parros, 25, set career highs with 14 goals and 247 penalty minutes while totaling 22 points (14-8=22) in 67 regular season contests with the Manchester Monarchs, the Kings' American Hockey League affiliate, during the 2004-05 season. The 6-5, 215-pound native of Randolph, New Jersey, added another two points (1-1=2) and 27 penalty minutes in six post-season games with the Monarchs.

The Kings selected Parros in the eighth-round (222nd overall) of the 1999 NHL Entry Draft.

Giuliano, 26, set career highs with eight goals, 16 assists and 24 points (8-16=24) in 69 regular season contests with the Manchester Monarchs, the Kings' American Hockey League affiliate, during the 2004-05 season. The 5-9, 205-pound native of Nashua, New Hampshire, also totaled 21 penalty minutes last season. Giuliano, twice voted Manchester's "Fan Favorite" award winner, also appeared in two post-season games with the Monarchs.

The Kings are scheduled to begin training camp on Wednesday, September 14, at the Toyota Sports Center in El Segundo.
