Slava Voynov's not sure what the big deal is about skating in a rink with no roof.Now, I know that a lot of fans and media have criticized the concept of the Coors Light Stadium Series™ as nothing more than the NHL's attempt to make more money. But after spending a few days this past week at Dodger Stadium getting a chance to preview the game experience, I'm really excited about today and I think it will be a unique and amazing time for all fans in attendance. Sure, the NHL is going to make a lot of money off this game... but it's not like either of these teams have set up a home shopping network to sell off collectables at outrageous prices, right? RIGHT?!?
So the answer is yes... Brian Hayward has always been a blatant homer.
That's right, during the broadcast of a Kings-Ducks game from March 16th, 1994, the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim ran a Home Shopping Network segment for nearly 7 minutes during an intermission. And you thought the Stadium Series™ merchandise was outrageous!
