Goals by Thomas Hickey, Kyle Clifford and Jordan Weal gave LA a 3-1 lead that they quickly surrendered. Robbie Czarnik regained the lead for the Kings but Phoenix would force OT where Brandon Kozun eventually won in the shootout.
